In its second decade, the Oliver Wyman annual MRO survey samples a range of executives from across the aviation industry addressing key trends and emerging issues in the MRO sector.  This year the survey team examined:

  • What the top disruptors are for the industry and what this means for all constituencies (e.g., labor shortages, OEM influence, consolidation trends, shifts in fleet strategies)
  • Implications of a downturn, how prepared the industry is, and what that could mean in terms of specific actions airlines, OEMs, and MROs might take and the corresponding implications for the industry
  • The evolution of digital technologies in the aftermarket space, including which ones are creating value, which technologies are evolving faster, and where respondents expect to get future impact
The results of the survey will be available for download on April 8, 2019.
