Case Studies
North American Regional Airline
Large North American operator was requesting the transfer of twenty ERJ175s between two regional operators, one of which had ceased operation during the first phase of transfers due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oliver Wyman CAVOK was a known entity in supporting aircraft transaction and maintenance program support and was chosen by the operator to carry out records auditing and bridging simultaneously.
Oliver Wyman CAVOK audited historical records to ensure delivery conditions and regulatory requirements were met, provided customized reports for FAA review as well as loader reports for components and tasks for operator tracking system and supported changes to maintenance requirements with real-time records research and review during conversion. In addition Oliver Wyman CAVOK developed a custom application that included both operator’s complete maintenance programs, forecasted discrete task run-out times and identified tasks that were “forced” into bridging packages
Oliver Wyman CAVOK provided a new operator with records status prior to bridge and identified additional tasks to be added to the bridge as needed to meet regulatory requirements. Additionally, digital records necessary to meet regulatory requirements as well as comprehensive digital bridging packages were given to the new operator
Oliver Wyman CAVOK implemented a pulsed delivery of a “Just in Time” bridging scheme to reduce last-minute adjustments and logistical issues. The 20 ERJ175 transfers were completed in three months, providing the client with an agile level of service unmatched in our industry
